2. Information we collect
When you submit a contact, sales, support or notification request, we process your name, email address, message, IP address, timestamp, chosen department and form type. The server also processes a short-lived CAPTCHA answer and CSRF/session security data. We do not ask for passwords or payment card details and do not offer accounts or online billing on this website.
3. Why we use it
We use messages and contact details to respond to your request and, where you choose the notification form, to tell you when the requested feature is available. We use IP-based rate limiting, CAPTCHA and security logs to reduce spam, protect the website and investigate abuse. The relevant legal basis depends on applicable law and may include your request, consent for notifications, and our legitimate interest in operating a secure contact service.
4. Where information goes
General, Sales and Notify Me submissions are sent to hello@cgxhost.com. Support messages are sent to support@cgxhost.com. Our cPanel hosting and email providers necessarily process information to deliver these messages. We do not sell personal information or use advertising trackers.
5. Cookies
We use a strictly necessary PHP session cookie to protect form submissions with CSRF and CAPTCHA checks. It is configured with Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Strict. We do not place analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies. The session expires according to the server's session policy.
6. Storage and retention
No contact-form database is maintained. Submitted messages are delivered to the intended mailbox. Minimal security logs and rate-limiting records are kept outside the public website directory. Security log retention is proposed as up to 90 days, and short-lived CAPTCHA images and challenges expire after approximately five minutes. Mailbox retention is not yet finalized and must be confirmed before launch. Messages may need to be retained longer where legal obligations or a dispute require it.
7. Security
Forms use server-side validation, CSRF protection, single-use CAPTCHA challenges, rate limits and encrypted SMTP connections. No website or email system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please do not send account passwords, payment card data or sensitive identity documents through the forms.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection to certain processing. You may withdraw consent for notification emails by contacting us. Requests can be sent to hello@cgxhost.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting and may retain information where law requires it.
9. International processing
We are based in the United States and may use service providers that process information in other countries. Applicable cross-border safeguards must be reviewed before accepting users in jurisdictions that require them.
10. Changes
